Thrilled to share a preprint from my PhD work on memory B cell plasticity in allergy. The persistence of IgE immunity critically relies upon MBCs. In this work, we show that the reservoir of allergen-specific MBCs can be reprogrammed away from an IgE fate!

It’s out! Check out our work that defines a type 2-polarized memory B cell subset that drives IgE responses in humans.

We found type 2 polarized memory B cells! (Maybe the equivalent of Th2 cells?) I am so excited to see this paper published Science Translational Medicine! This was a team effort pushed by myself, Allyssa, Kelly Bruton and our colleagues ALK. 🧵1/18 science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
