Saying our own special prayers during The Celebration of The Word today.

During The Celebration of The Word today we listened to a story from Luke’s Gospel of Jesus sending out the seventy two. We looked at the picture of The Devine Mercy and talked about it and what it means. We spoke about trusting in Jesus and said our own special prayers.

During The Celebration of The Word today we listened to Luke’s Gospel, the parable of The Good Samaritan. We all said our own special prayers.

During our Celebration of the Word today,we talked about our new Saint, St. Carlo Acutis and listened to his life story.We learnt how he was kind every minute of the day.Kindness is one of our School Values. We also celebrated Our Blessed Mother Mary’s birthday.

During the Celebration of The Word today we listened to and discussed John’s Gospel. We spoke about the significance of the cross and how everyone is welcome in Heaven.We were also introduced to this year’s Class Prayer Leaders.

This morning, we were delighted to welcome Janet from Mini Vinnies.We learnt all about the new Saint, Saint Pierre Georgio Frassati, and how we can be just like him, how we can be kind, selfless, help people in need in our local community and always do our best.

This morning during The Celebration of the Word we celebrated the Feast Day of the Archangels. We learnt all about the Archangels, Michael, Raffael and Gabriel and said our own special prayers to them.

During the Celebration of The Word today we learnt about St. Francis of Assisi. We talked about how we can be like him and bring peace, how we can make a difference to the World. We finished by saying our own special prayers.

During the Celebration of The Word today we spoke about two very special Saints, St.Teresa of Avila and St.Carlos Acutis.We acknowledged that we keep Jesus alive every time we do good in the World.Finally, we said our own very special prayers.

This morning during our Celebration of the Word, we talked about Mary, Our Blessed Mother. We listened to the Mysteries of The Rosary, sang The Magnificat and said our own very special prayers.

During the celebration of The Word today, we listened to a story from Matthew’s Gospel. The story shows that a true love for Jesus is shown through our actions of love and kindness toward others. We said our own very special prayers.

During the celebration of The Word today, we remembered those who have died as a result of war.We learnt about the significance of the poppy and how there is always light after darkness.We prayed for peace and were thankful for those who gave their lives for us.

During The Celebration of the Word today we spoke about how we can raise money for charity and help organisations such as CAFOD. We all said our very own special prayers.

This morning during The Celebration of The Word, we listened to Luke’s Gospel. We spoke about how Jesus has a big heart and loves us at all times. We also celebrated our talents and two of our wonderful children who received the Sacrament of Baptism yesterday.

During our Celebration of The Word yesterday we lit our first candle on our Advent wreath. We are excited and very much looking forward to the Pilgrimage of the Jubilee icon of the ‘The Visitation’ arriving in school this week. We said our very own special prayers.
