So happy that I can finally share the results of my first postdoc paper with Michael Baym!! Turns out plasmids are an amazing system to study multi-scale evolution and we can track within-cell and between-cell dynamics! Here’s a photo of plasmids competing inside cells in a colony (1/n)

Happens to be a reviewer for a phytology and a zoology journal in the last few months. Working step by step to have a biological view out of the classic model boundaries, and career path. Exhausting , not always recognized, but science requires to not be conformist

3 years after terrible loss (two -80C freezers and back-ups) of almost all of our collection of regular and mutant human, Drosophila, E. Coli and Plasmodium cells, we are still not finished with insurance. I should point out that this was a valuable collection of mutant cell
