Haven't done small, finer sculpting in a while. But the FFXVI tome is almost ready for silicone. #FFXVI

Finally onto making the tome's cover. Polished up some cold casts and just need trimming. Then onto the veg tan leather part of the build. #FFXVI

Leather tooling & finishing really ain't my forte, but some 220 sandpaper on the freshly dyed leather gave it a patina I was hoping to get lol. Will cement the leather down after I paint & mount that border to the book. #FFXVI

Saw a heli and what looked like an MQ-18 fly over my house today. Saw it go west, which that's towards Memphis. Someone wanna tell me why a drone is really that necessary on our own people?

Wasn't sure what to do for the back because no reference of it exists, ever, at least none I could find. So I kept it simple, with some tooling to look like swooping birds & kinda mirror the front. (pls don't judge my leather work lol) #FFXVI #finalfantasy

I spent long enough on that FFXVI tome that when I picked up my Weiss, I forgot how gigantic my grimoires are. 😂

Made Angie a little leather weight bearing harness that can hook onto stuff. And made a little wooden stand so...she can stand lol. #ResidentEvil
