Every country has angry people. 2A existed for decades without regular mass shootings. But it was the GOP that refused to renew the 1994 assault weapons ban. It was a 5-4 SCOTUS in Heller. It was the NRA that marketed weapons of war. Focus on the root causes, not the shooter.
