Thank you ASGBI for hosting our Medical Director Ammar Darwish (and our war wound simulator, Heston!). By training as many doctors as possible, we believe we can make safe, skilled surgical care available to all. #ASGBI2024

Chase Surgical BehindTheKnife is very good although some of it doesn’t reflect U.K. practice but still a fantastic resource. I found Alan Askari and his teams “Scrubbing In” really helpful too, especially in terms of format of the exam and the stats episode was exactly like my exam 🙌

Mr Omer Al-Taan talking about day-case #BariatricSurgery undertaken Luton and Dunstable University Hospital at the BOMSS annual bariatric conference. Day-case bariatric surgery is safe, feasible, better for patients and a better utilisation of NHS resources. Patient selection is key! Bariatric News

Clinical management of patients presenting as an emergency following bariatric therapy can be challenging. NEBSA will shed light on this issue as part of a multi-centre collaborative. Both Non-Bariatric and Bariatric units welcome to join in this collaborative authorship
