Wild to me that my employer is breaking labor laws here in Texas and straight up said not giving overtime pay is normal and other places do it when it is literally illegal to not do so here Having to work 60+ hours this week and I've missed out on hundreds in OT pay already 😫

Update: I QUIT! And I will be reporting the business to the appropriate places. I found out they were also redistributing overtime hours between the pay period of two weeks to avoid me being over 40 hours a week on paper. Which is also very illegal 😫

HAHAHADKJHIUD I GOT MY FINAL PAYCHECK PROCESSED AND THEY GAVE ME THE OVERTIME I WAS OWED SO THEY DON'T GET IN TROUBLE But they still skimmed my hours. Again. I have 97 hours worked yet it says 91 in my paystub. Last paystub said 95 when I definitely worked 101 hours.

I'm cackling at this text my old manager sent out about paying overtime after they gave me all my owed overtime when I quit, including retro pay. Guilty mfers know they're doing illegal shit and it will absolutely come back to bite them in their asses
