Excited to announce that I will be chairing the next #Pseudomonas #conference in beautiful #Copenhagen 🇩🇰 I look forward to work w/the global Pseudomonas research community to keep the high scientific level of this meeting series—that started in 1986, organized by Kenneth Timmis!

First in-person conference at #pseudomonas2022 during my PhD degree. So much interesting science and conversations centering this model! Special shout out to my awesome pool table friends for all the fun time after seminars!

Just landed in Madison WI for #phages2022, looking forward to a packed week of 🦠 and 🧬! Looking forward to chatting with people at poster 207 if you are curious about how bacteria play spy games with plant hosts.

My friend and lab mate Lily Lofton gave an electric talk on the chemical warfare between Sarocladium zeae and Fusarium verticillioides in the maize kernel Interesting findings about the relationship and molecular mechanisms tied to pyrrocidines and fumonisins 12th Japan-US Seminar in Plant Pathology

Don't forget about my cheatsheet on the most common functions of R (for ecology). 👇 i.e., 80% of everything you will ever do in R (on TWO pages) rforecology.com/post/the-essen… Enjoy! #rstats #datascience #cheatsheet #ecology #science #rforecology #tutorial #biology #reference

Exited to share our discovery of a novel social motility phenotype in Pseudomonas syringae! We found sub-population level transcriptomic signatures correlating to the motility induction and molybdenum cofactor is needed for this behavior to occur. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

On Jan 24, I joined Swingle Lab at Cornell's PPPMB—a humble, supportive group. Today, we launched @SwingleLab to share our journey through the eyes of a first-year PhD student. Follow us to see how we push scientific boundaries and train future plant-microbe biologists! 🌱🧬🧫

I was one of the probationary employees from USDA ARS that got let go on Friday. If you or someone you know is hiring for a position that aligns with my background (molecular bio, microbiol, plant path, virology, RNAi), I would greatly appreciate any referrals or recommendations.
