Other than citrus what does the US send to Aus? I was of the understanding that we export far more than we consume of most ag produce.

There is an arrogance that comes with being a farmer in his 20-30s who knows with family they have a backstop if things go south. They won’t publicly admit it, I wouldn’t have. But that arrogance gets replaced by a lot of stress when you realize you are the backstop of the farm.
