Today we learned how to go owling and all about great horned owl adaptations - including regurgitating pellets. We got our hands on some and found lots of rodents and a bigger mystery animal inside! We hope Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation can help us identify the mystery bones during our Zoom next week!

After contacting Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation, we found out that he is an American avocet & will look like the picture below when he's full grown!
