It's been a busy October at AITO! Last week I met with representatives from TERBINE and the City of Las Vegas to discuss their work using #AI and #InternetOfThings to cultivate smart cities & spur economic growth. Thank you for hosting me!

While in #LasVegas I toured Switch and learned about their design features to maximize security and energy efficiency for data centers. Also, toured their air-transportable Edge data centers. Thank you Terri for your hospitality!

Did you know that Western Area Power provides power transmission to at least 15 states and 115 Native American tribes? It was great to see the Mead Substation. Thanks to Western Area Power for powering the American economy and millions of homes!

A true privilege to tour the #HooverDam at Lake Mead with Darío Gil. The Dam is a marvel of American ingenuity, imagination, and determination. I encourage you to learn more about its mission and critical importance to the American Southwest!

The National AI Initiative Office is charged with overseeing America’s AI strategy and will serve as the central hub in the The White House for AI research and policy.   It will further strengthen American leadership in AI and be integral to National AI efforts far into the future.

This is a historic announcement, and will advance American #AI leadership. Congrats to Dr. Parker!
