We planted our pumpkin seedlings in the green space Ecole J S McCormick. The students will help water them & watch them grow until the fall. Hopefully we will have lots of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch by the fall.

Pick 3 dandelions and put them in order from tallest to shortest. We love taking our math lessons outside Ecole J S McCormick

It was a beautiful day to get outside and make nature self portraits and play in the mud kitchens Ecole J S McCormick.

We released our butterflies this week and enjoyed a trip to the fairytale forest. The Ss have also been loving the camping centre. J really liked sitting by the campfire & reading to her baby today. Ecole J S McCormick

I said goodbye to one of my amazing kindergarten classes today. We celebrated the end of the year with a picnic and water balloon toss. It’s hard to let this fantastic group of kiddos go but I know they are so ready for grade one.❤️Ecole J S McCormick

That’s a wrap on the 20/21 school year for my kindergarten classes. I am so proud of all of these kiddos. Their enthusiasm for learning and their kind hearts made me smile every day. Good luck in grade one my friends!❤️Ecole J S McCormick

Today in kindergarten we read The Circle of Sharing & Caring by Theressa Larsen Jonasson. After the story, we participated in a sharing circle in the tipi and then students made their own talking stick. Ecole J S McCormick

We had so much fun visiting the fairytale forest this week! We made big piles of leaves to jump in and enjoyed the beautiful Fall weather. The students noticed the air smells like leaves & that the leaves sound crunchy when we walk on them. Ecole J S McCormick

Today was an amazing day in kindergarten Ecole J S McCormick! We chased our gingerbread man around the school, decorated cookies, had a visit from Swifty and we were given candy canes from the kindness crew! What a great way to kick off the holiday season.

Our Kindergarten classes today had a special visitor! There was so much excitement as Swifty entered the classrooms! The students sang Swifty songs and gave him the best high-5s and hugs!! #schoolspirit #schoolmascot #forthekids
