At least the dry weather is good for something, larger catchment ponds are finished and should work a lot better than those orange risers. This one is tied to an 8” outlet, should hopefully provide enough capacity for a quick couple of inches coming upstream.

Prepping canola ground tonight on a freshly manured field. Seeing lots of these pesky little flies which I always attribute to being seed corn maggot. Any management recs for planting canola in a few weeks? ⁦
