Today, we're honoring Alice Fong Yu for Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Despite being discouraged due to her ethnicity, she enrolled in San Francisco State Teachers College & graduated in 1922, becoming the first Chinese-American teacher in a US public school.

Last week, we held a Career Panel and Fair for students in our Early Childhood Education program at Parkway West High School. The event featured a wide range of professionals who shared insights on the successes and challenges they've experienced in their respective fields.

On Monday, Culinary Arts students in our Tourism & Hospitality Program at Benjamin Franklin High School explored Philadelphia's history and food scene with a walking tour through Center City highlighted by stops at Reading Terminal Market and Fogo de Chao!
