Absolutely disgusted but not surprised that Tulane University is sponsoring an international education conference (NAFSA) that will platform Israeli universities amid Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians, knowing full-well the toll these universities are playing in that effort. 🧵

NAFSA “Study In Israel” will be tabling as an exhibitor on behalf of all Israeli universities— notably this effort is being run directly through the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C.. They can’t pretend Israeli universities aren’t a critical part of the Zionist colonial project.

NAFSA Tel Aviv University is sending reps from the Lowy International School— named after “Sir Frank Lowy” who himself participated in the Nakba with the Golani Brigades. He is a proud Zionist & explicitly makes clear how TAU plays a key role in the Zionist project. #NAFSA2024

There are no tents for those who survived the massacre in Rafah. They have no where to go. 1000s others who were displaced from Rafah northward are also still without tents. All have no access to water, sanitation or health services. The conditions of life are simply not there.
