Excited to share that I have been appointed head of a new Max Planck Partner Group! We will challenge the assumption that criminal motivation is uniform, researching how different motivations, like having a drug habit vs seeking financial gain, influence target selection.

We were thrilled to host Dr. Holly Nguyen, Dr. Kim Przeszlowski, and Dr. Michael Rocque UA Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice last week to discuss their fascinating research on (a) male reentry & female labor markets; (b) law enforcement's use of real-time crime centers; and (c) maturity's effects on crime!
