Three keys to unlocking Hotwire - use components, not partials - dont use turbo_stream.erb files - custom streams for extra JS needs List of items, click edit->slide out drawer with the form... Submit form -> update record, re-render the item in the list, close the drawer 🫡

Building AI features feels high stakes ("are we behind?") which leads to more time analyzing to avoid getting it "wrong" But there are very few actual patterns for this stuff and they can be invalidated tomorrow Trust your gut and build through the fear

any thoughts on adding a "no-op" tool call so the LLM can pick that one if there isn't anything more to do? overkill? from my testing it feels like models really want to call a tool if you pass it ~10 tools, even if none are really appropriate

Would also love to see any resources of agent-like flows where a human must approve changes and they can "stack-up" if you have any Would love for our agent to consider "pending" or "rejected" changes, or be able to update pending suggestions if new information is available

Some days you think building with LLMs are magical Other days you make stupid changes like this and the output quality varies drastically

This was so funny to me: the "Vanilla" version of this library just goes ahead and imports React and mounts the component 😂

This is a great video, but I needed to remind myself that "top YC startups" are not some savants that are way ahead, but rather just peers (and often with less experience) There is no secret magic that solves all the challenges, every thing is still WIP youtube.com/watch?v=DL82mG…
