Padyatris from #Ladakh were given a choice by Delhi Police to either take the bus back to Leh or go to jail. They chose the latter because this is a fight for our collective future. This report highlights some of the core issues driving this current protest.

In a powerful display of unity, the residents of border villages Phobrang, Urgo & Lukung held a peaceful protest on the banks of Pangong Lake in support of Shri Sonam Wangchuk & the Yatris unjustly detained by Delhi Police. Proud of my people for standing strong for Ladakh's cause!

The situation in Ladakh is really grave. The Ladakhi demand for Sixth Schedule has massive support among the people. Painting these protests as trouble incited by one man is too transparently false.
