Its kind of crazy that people are seemingly angrier about a slave trader statue being ripped down than the actual history of slavery. 2020 is insane. Wake me up when it's over. 🙃

I don't understand. - Police are protecting a statue from people who want to protect it from people who don't seem to be there. - Meanwhile the man who stopped us all from having to salute like a Nazi is celebrated by men doing Nazi salutes. I mean, it's very 2020, but still.

I’ve witnessed this sort of crap every other summer at football tournaments for over 30 years. The association with football is depressing. Even when there is no football the connection remains. These people are not football fans. These people ruin football for football fans.
