Great that Peers have supported Amendment 45 to the Public Order Bill. Safe Access Zones are vital for protecting women & healthcare professionals from intimidation & harassment when accessing or providing essential abortion care. I hope that MPs will support this new amendment

The RCOG is delighted to welcome Bliss Baby Charity to our Union Street office space. When moving to the Union Street headquarters, the College’s vision was to create a global women’s health hub. It is wonderful to see this becoming a reality with another new tenant.

Very glad to see that MPs have voted in favour of creating 150m Safe Access Zones around abortion clinics in England and Wales in the Public Order Bill. The RoyalCollegeObsGyn has been campaigning a long time for this to be implemented.

I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world. NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.
