today has been one of the most emotional days I’ve ever experienced as a community nurse. However, being able to perform last offices on a patient we have been so close too makes it all worth while. RIP to a true gentleman 🥺🤍

spending time with a patients family members explaining all aspects of the palliative care side of things, equipment etc (as they’ve been given minimal information) coming out and them telling you you’ve reassured them makes it all worth while 🥹🥰

In nearly 7 years of community nursing, I’ve never experienced a day like today, every emotion has hit me like a ton of bricks 😔💔 I’m so blessed to have the team I do, we stick together like bloody glue and have each others backs 🤍
