You can admit guilt, serve your time, pay fines, & lose everything. Show genuine remorse, give back to the community, rebuild your career, and live as a model citizen for 20 years after your mistake. Yet, some people will still refuse to let you live your life.

Does anyone have suggestions for journal articles, chapters, or scholars that have critiqued historical theories of literacy learning and instruction? Specifically critiques of the exclusion of Black students…any help extremely appreciated!
