Potatoes are one of the most wasted foods in Jersey 🥔 🤯

Some top tips to reduce food waste:
🥔Buy loose
🥔Store in a cool, dry, dark place
🥔Cut off sprouts and green spots
🥔Keep skin on or roast the peels
🥔Don’t freeze raw potatoes - freeze them cooked

This #FoodWasteActionWeek we’re encouraging you to choose what you’ll use and buy loose.

This simple change can help us all reduce both food AND plastic waste – all whilst giving you more freedom to choose the right food for you.

Islanders will be able to use a new water fountain in St Helier from this afternoon.

It has been installed by Jersey Water in partnership with the Parish of St Helier.
