Meeting the most basic needs of our people is far from simple. These The Royal Logistic Corps soldiers do it without fanfare at home and abroad. British Army 🇬🇧 and Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧 should celebrate the work of our professional logisticians. World class.
Anyone employed in Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧 or British Army 🇬🇧 HQ. Stay in lane and focus on your stuff. Please read this 👇.
Another example of the The Royal Logistic Corps delivering one of their USPs. Operational feeding is consistently brilliant and always welcome.
Exactly the sort of thing we should be trialling.sounds like it’s got significant utility across a range of forces. 1 (UK) Division
.Jack Watling explains why the threat posed by Russia extends far beyond Ukraine’s borders—and makes the case for helping Kyiv rebuild its offensive combat power in the first half of 2024.

A really important 🧵 from Charlie Herbert. The commentary following his original post on this subject was deeply troubling. It’s a contentious subject but I’m 100% with Charlie. Our moral authority in 21C conflict is paramount. The Royal Logistic Corps Logistic Thinking Wavell Room
Thank you Gabriele Molinelli for highlighting the unsung work of The Royal Logistic Corps and REME. As ever without fanfare they have delivered, yet again. To quote Jomini ‘Logistics is all or almost all of the field of military activities except combat’. Often feels that way.
Great primer looking at what SSI_USArmyWarCollege have identified from Ukraine. ‘Trust is the essential ingredient in mission command, but changing the [US] Army's organizational culture to encourage senior leaders to empower and support subordinates is an enormously difficult task’. True.
Interesting commentary from Logistics In War on Aus DSR. Much to note but I was struck by the reiteration of good logistics and it’s centrality to preparedness.
An important reminder about foods central place in military capability. British Army 🇬🇧 culled chefs a long while ago (cost driven). Those remaining continue to produce amazing food. As Spencer says ‘Without a stable diet, the effects of combat are magnified’. The Royal Logistic Corps
Fascinating article raising important issues. Whilst not new, further reinforcement that logistics really is the lifeblood of war. How does the theory stand up in British Army 🇬🇧 given reduced scale, much smaller financial resource, and current lack of preparedness.
Important lesson here. Field storage of ammunition a vital part of any Op. British Army 🇬🇧 need to ensure we understand and practice it. Not always my experience.
