1) This misses the point. Politically speaking, the revenue generated by bus fares is free. No one has to take a tough vote to generate it. No substantial bloc of voters opposes it. The mayor doesn't need to wrestle with the council and Albany annually to get it. It's just there

I think it's good that a lot of California electeds can speak Spanish. It's the language spoken at home for the 30% of the state's people.

Might not appeal to some people but if you solely want to maximize your odds of stopping Cuomo, you should rank Lander and A. Adams 1st and 2nd and then Mamdani third.
