A pre-restoration survey of fish and crayfish within the Harvey River by Freshwater Fish will help determine if log placement within a modified section of the river improves fish and crayfish numbers over time. #marronmorethanameal

It's important to celebrate the small things in life. A trip to a project site along the Harvey River led to the discovery of a freshwater mussel, a native conostylis in flower, and the remains of something's meal (possibly Rakali). Hopefully the Rakali doesn't spot the mussel.
