With some TLC these plants (planted in 2020) are doing well. In the years to come they'll provide plenty of habitat and shade for lots of Harvey River critters. #marronmorethanameal

A pre-restoration survey of fish and crayfish within the Harvey River by Freshwater Fish will help determine if log placement within a modified section of the river improves fish and crayfish numbers over time. #marronmorethanameal

The Water Corporation South West Drainage Services team and DWER WA Healthy Rivers team provided advice and direction when installing habitat logs into the Harvey River. Project work is much simpler when sharing resources with multiple partners. #Marronmorethanameal

It's important to celebrate the small things in life. A trip to a project site along the Harvey River led to the discovery of a freshwater mussel, a native conostylis in flower, and the remains of something's meal (possibly Rakali). Hopefully the Rakali doesn't spot the mussel.
