🏀 My mother's prayers when I was nearly killed one summer. The dump truck I was riding in hit a telephone pole directly impacting where I was sitting. It broke my neck, crushed my hand and caused a severe concussion. 3 months later, I was playing high school varsity basketball.

🙏💪 Dear Heavenly Father; I volunteer to be a mighty man that Tim Tebow is referring to, a warrior for good. Your Bible challenges us to be protectors, willing to put it all on the line. I'm willing to be a mighty man and dive into scripture. Amen! #Warrior #ChristianResurgence

🏟 I built my foundation from playing basketball for 2 colleges, swimming for 2 & Gulf War military service. Coached multiple intercollegiate sports (NCAA D1, Cal JC) & also in world class competition. Taught college & high school physical education; university military science.

🏟 While coaching at Saddleback College, worked with swimming, basketball, football, water polo and diving. Taught physical education, was youth sports clinic director and meet host. Have coached NCAA D1, CIF and world class. Also bring transferable skills from military service.

⚡️ Here's me in the lead during this heat of 'Beach Flags' at the USLA Mid-Atlantic Regional Lifeguard Championship back in the 1980s. 'Beach Flags' is similar to musical chairs except that you're sprinting 20 yards from a face down start to a short flag in the sand. #SurfRescue

🐬 I've coached in world class competitions. My Saddleback College Hall of Fame swimmer Don Flood qualified for final rounds at the Chrysler Swim Meet of Champions in Mission Viejo, CA. Also in the event were former world record holders Matt Biondi and Tom Jager. 🏊‍♂️ #WorldClass

🇺🇸 Veterans make outstanding coaches, physical education teachers and athletic directors. Most are eligible for Montgomery G.I. Education funding. Colleges and school districts need to expand athletics and physical education programs for the many health, life and career benefits.
