RIP Wally Scott. He put me on Radio City in its opening week in October 1974, a newspaper hack just out of my teens covering non-league footy. He became Billy Butler’s comedy partner. I somehow ended up at Westminster as a Political Correspondent. Ta, Wal. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Paul Rowley I had the pleasure of meeting up with Graham several times in Queensland. His fund of radio stories was endless as was his love of the medium. So sad that a legend has left the studio.

Lost 1973 FA Trophy Final 2-1 to Scarborough AET. Won 1985 Freight Rover Trophy 3-1 over Brentford. 1988 : Football League Centenary, beat Sunderland, lost to Sheff Wed. Won 1999 Auto Windscreens Shield 1-0 over Millwall. Lost 2000 Division 2 Play-off Final 3-2 to Gillingham AET.
