Another recent release - this Whiskered was found inside the reception of a big company building in Newark, taken into care for some TLC and released a few days ago.

Who knew bats like see-saws? Thank you for allowing us to share this wonderful footage Clare of the two Whiskered bats, from the same roost, that you currently have in care.

This is Kinny from Kinoulton, a male Common Pipistrelle, who came to us on 9 September via the Leicestershire Bat Group and after an initial assessment with a vet - successfully released last night!

One of our carers successfully reunited two pups from the same roost with their respective mums. Reunites are complicated and require many considerations. Every success makes the hard work, late nights and early mornings so worthwhile.

After giving his carer the run (fly) around the previous evening, this bat from Ranby was successfully released back to where he was found last night. 🦇

Last night, two of our committee members attended a house to ascertain the species of a roost that had appeared while the owners were on holiday recently. We counted a total of 74 Soprano Pipistrelle emerge from under the soffit on the back of the house.
