.The Labour Party would let communities take back control of their buses by:

✅ Empowering local transport authorities
✅ Supporting public ownership
✅ Speeding up the franchising process

This could create and save 1,300 routes and allow 250 million more passenger journeys per year.

Last year, National Grid - privatised in 1990 - made more than £4,500,000,000 in profits.

I think they can afford to decarbonise the energy grid without destroying our agriculture, livelihoods and pristine views.
