Women need not fear monsters, but instead their ordinary, everyday husbands and other men who choose to act in monstrous ways.

This is why women need to use accurate language to describe their experience. It may make the judge and everyone else uncomfortable but they raped her without her knowledge and she needs to be able to express that.

Can the UK government now follow please. Where a culture is actively harming women we have to step in and protect them and to ensure the freedoms that were fought for over a hundred years ago are still protecting all women.
