Yesterday, the NYPD and St. Joseph's School for the Deaf faced off on the basketball court in a spirited game filled with camaraderie and friendly competition.

Deputy Inspector Johnny Orellana, along with your Community Affairs Officers, had another self-defense training course with the help of Kevin C. Riley and Riverbay Corporation . The community had a fun time requesting scenarios and getting a demonstration on what to do defensively.

9 years ago today, 25-year-old Brian Moore lost his life after being shot two days prior in the line-of-duty while stopping a criminal carrying an illegal gun.

St. Joseph's School held its annual parade today, celebrating both their school and community spirit! Students marched alongside NYPD and NYC school crossing guards.
