What an energising&fantastic time I had last night with our district nurses who were showcasing the initiatives they had been leading over the last 6 months. After a typical manic Friday in the world of nursing, this small act of kindness from a lovely patient really made my day.

As more and more of us get back to enjoying our daily lives pretty much as normal, that’s sadly not the case for most NHS staff. They are still up against Covid, serious staff shortages, horrible working conditions and more. So please RT if your thoughts are still with them.

#TBThursday Can’t believe two years has passed, since I had the privilege to attend a Christmas celebration alongside The Prince and Princess of Wales to recognise frontline staff for their hard work. A moment I will cherish. Thank you Neil Carr & Midlands Partnership University NHS FT 🎄❤️

From today onwards patients arriving into our ED department will now be nursed on repose companions, improving patient safety and comfort in an extremely pressured environment. Fabulous engagement from our wonderful ED team 😊 #patientsafety #stopthepressure UHNM NHS Trust 🏥
