This strategy does not go far enough. I have been around long enough to remember every promise, policy, guidance, strategy announced by Welsh Government since 1999, yet here we are in 2024 with child poverty the highest it’s ever been in Wales. It’s beyond disappointing.

There’s a minor reference to Youth Work, the National Youth Work Strategy and recommendations from the Interim Youth Work Board on page 29. Other references to the YEPF and the inclusion of Youth Homelessness on page 23 & 27. Read up and see what you think? 🤔
