Lessons for radiology educators from behavioral economics: Unstructured interviews are susceptible to cognitive biases. Defining common ideals, questions, and rating scales can mitigate some biases in interviewers. Judah Burns Montefiore Radiology at #ENRS2024

Preference signaling for radiology residency applications helps a lot, but where do you send your 6 gold and 6 silver signals? Typical allocation in our survey: 2 gold→aspirational/reach programs 3 gold+3 silver→likely matches 1 gold+3 silver→safeties doi.org/10.1016/j.jacr…

Follow up performed to assess for progression of bone infarcts. No trauma. Note is made of a medial meniscal flounce on the follow up MR image obtained in knee flexion (right) as compared to normal appearance on the one performed in knee extension (left). This is a nice

What happened when a high-performing radiology practice (academic center) deployed AI for intracranial hemorrhage detection (aidoc)? Performance regressed toward mediocrity (slightly) and interpretation took (insignificantly) longer. Buyer beware!
