If this announcement happened under a Republican governor (while there was near record low unemployment and strong wage growth), it's all we'd be hearing about. All those business groups would be doing backflips.

But with a Democratic governor, it's barely news, no recognition.

After disappointing Q1 GDP report, we find out today that March saw US spending grow by 0.8%, incomes up 0.5%, and wages+salaries up 0.7%. All were up well above 0.3% #inflation rate.

Ignore the fear-mongerers. Economy is still good.
