In the summer months many people enjoying spending time outside in the warm weather. It’s especially important to follow sun safety precautions during this season. Take a look at some of our tips to help you stay safe in the sun!

Many counties in Utah are expecting excessive heat warnings this weekend. To stay safe in the extreme temperatures be sure to drink lots of fluids, stay in the air conditioning or shade, wear loose fitting clothing, and be cautious when exercising and working outside.

With June coming to a close, we are excited about our upcoming events in July. On July 19th and 20th we will be attending the CARE fair, where lots of other community resources will be in attendance providing care and services for attendees. We hope to see you there!

As many of us will be spending time outdoors today a few simple reminders keep our skin safe from the sun - Cover up, wear long sleeves/hat - Sunglasses - Lip balm with an SPF 30+ - Apply sunscreen to any areas of skin not protected by clothing

Don't forget to reapply your sunscreen.
