Day 3 of #iascl2024 - some highlights for me were examples of trilingual(!) code mixing in HK infants by Jane Man-Yu Lai, and an amazing symposium on parent-child interaction with deaf children, including a fab talk by Martina Curtin. Can't wait for more tomorrow!
Pleased to say that yesterday I passed my PhD viva with minor corrections 🎉🧑🎓 thank you Rena Lyons and Patricia Neville for a really interesting and thoughtful discussion. And thanks to Prof Yvonne Wren FRCSLT and Sam Harding for being there to cheer me on! (and bringing snacks) 😅
