A pleasure to meet everyone today for the first Halton Bazaar Event organised by A Better Place - Halton CIC.

Wonderful to see families and the local ethnic communities come together today for the Bazaar.

We were delighted to attend Hazelhurst Studios, Runcorn last night for a viewing of their 20:20 Hot Bed Press exhibition.

So many wonderful pieces of artwork to see, we could have spent hours looking at them all.

Congratulations to the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service The Prince's Trust Teams from both Halton and Winsford on their Graduation ceremony yesterday.

You should be proud of your personal achievements, and we wish you the best of luck in your future career paths.

A pleasure to visit another two care homes in the Borough as part of the “Halton 50 Celebrations”.

A pleasure to attend the Iftar dinner event tonight at Brookvale RC. Lovely to see the local community come together to break their fast, socialise and eat together.

As we celebrate 50 years of Halton this year, it was nice to celebrate all the achievements made in the past 50 years.

As part of Halton Council 50th celebrations today the four CEOs who have led the council over the 50 years met for lunch. This is us in front of our “official” pictures outside of the chamber… not many (if any) councils can boost such stability at the top !!

International Women’s Day, a fitting day to unveil the newly opened “Preece Suite” at Runcorn Town Hall.

Dedicated to the late Muriel J Preece MBE. A truly remarkable lady with a distinguished record of service in Runcorn and the Borough of Halton.

So on this International Women’s day the Mayor of Halton has formally opened The Preece Suite dedicated to the memory of Muriel Jessie Preece who was the first woman to be elected to public office in the borough amongst other things… a true trail blazer…
