Previous #OECI technology collab cruises have seen #DriX deployed from onboard #EVNautilus; during this expedition, CCOM/JHC deployed and operated the USV from shore. Traveling missions offshore from an island base opens up many future possibilities for #multivehicleoperations.

During the NA164 E Mamana Ou Gataifale I expedition both Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI)'s #Mesobot and @urigso’s #DAPLander collect #eDNA, but they're two very different pieces of #marinetechnology.
