Today (13th Feb) is World #selfloveday Be kind to yourself as well as others.💛 The idea is that when we learn to love ourselves too, we have more of ourselves available with which to love others.
Day 2 of #kindnessweek and the #7daykindnesschallenge . A few thoughts on how kindness supports mental health, as the giver and receiver.
Random Acts of Kindness week is 11-17th Feb. How about joining the #7daykindnesschallenge
Here’s 3 guidelines:
1) You have to do something different every day.
2) Stretch yourself out of your comfort zone at least once.
3) One of your acts of kindness must be anonymous.
This was incredible. Five years ago we were working with a few thousand children a year….I’m so proud of how much our school project has grown. This assembly was led by Greig Trout , featured science from Dr David R Hamilton (he/him) and concluded with a beautiful poem read by Donna Ashworth

It’s really important that we practice some #selfkindness when we feel we need it.
One way is to find things that support your mental health and to do them on purpose. It’s the ‘on purpose’ bit that makes it self kindness.
