We all need to remember that baseball is still a game played by real people! It is not a scientific experiment or mathematics formula! Very difficult to quantify heart, competitiveness, instincts and much more!! Use the data but don’t become completely dependent on the numbers!

Hmmm, SEC players using machine for BP…….not making excuses that they can’t hit the machine.. No parents there saying hitting off the machine will cause them to not hit in a game.. interesting.

Hitters...utilize the pitching machine on a regular basis! It is the only way to get enough high velocity and quality breaking ball reps. The more u see velo and quality CB's the better your chance of success.

Some of you need to be reminded travel baseball wasn’t created to tell kids to reclass without their best interest so you can chase a national ranking while playing kids a year younger. That’s cheating and literally winning at all costs. That’s fraud and not coaching. Not sorry.

Hitting instructors: please stop telling your hitters that BP off #HackAttack is bad for their swing. It’s not all about feel good front toss! How silly do you sound saying, “My 25MPH underhand flip is all you need to hit 85+ w/ movement and off-speed.”

Went to watch CCSU play Wagner in the NEC Baseball tournament. 1 fastball the whole game at 90MPH. Majority 82 to 86. Yet people throw around “he throws mid to high 80’s” in HS like it’s the norm. C’mon people! Stop believing the radar gun and learn how to pitch! #ctbase
