Interesting story here… Mom joined Navy a year prior to her daughter. One on the Ford, the other on Ike, both same rank. Incredible!

We went big on awards this deployment… nine months, only two port calls towards the end, fighting in the Red Sea for more than six months. Under these conditions, sailor recognition is a no-brainer. Go big where it counts.

Demo is a trained facility dog. He lives on the ship and interacts with crew. His job is to reduce stress and improve quality of life. He did a great job on the recent combat deployment!

This is so well deserved. IKE Strike Group simply could not have done what we did without the USNS Supply and other logistics ships. Glad that senior leadership listened and recognized U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command contributions.
