Today (October 20), the Chevron Fire Department is conducting training drills from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. If you see smoke near the refinery it is training related. If you have questions, please contact our community hotline at 510-242-2127.

Dear Neighbors: On Friday, October 21 a helicopter will be flying low over the refinery between 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. as part of planned activity. If you have any questions please call 510-242-2127.

Dear neighbors: Please be aware that we will be testing sirens on-and-off Wednesday, March 22 through Friday, March 24. It will sound like the siren tests that take place every Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Wondering about those clouds you sometimes see around the refinery? They are made up of steam and are part of safe and normal operations. Steam clouds can take different forms, depending on the weather. Check out the graphic below for more information.

Today (Mar. 5), Chevron is hosting the City of Richmond Fire Department’s new fire academy and will be conducting training between 9am to 3pm. If you see smoke near the refinery it is training related. If you have questions, please contact our community hotline at 510-242-2127.

We are conducting an emergency response drill today (3/7) in the area along our Richmond Long Wharf from 9 am-3 pm. The activity will include boats and boom in the Bay. If you see activity in the area, please know it is training related. all our community hotline at 510-242-2127.

Dear Neighbors: Today (July 10), PG&E will be performing maintenance work, using a helicopter, on a PG&E-owned tower located on Richmond Refinery property. The work will take place between 6 am and 7 pm.
