NY will also require doula services to be covered by Medicaid and increase funding to maternal mental health initiatives.

Over the last 4 years, I have secured $1 Million in funding for the Promise Project. Promise provides low-income children in NYC who are at risk for dyslexia w/neuropsychological assessments, clinical recommendations, and the follow-up necessary to receive the services they need.

On Saturday, April 20th the Assembly and State Senate passed the 2024-2025 New York State Budget. Though it was not perfect, there were many major wins for Brooklyn and our State. I will keep working in the months ahead to continue to deliver a more equatible and sustainable NY.

Driving has always exacted a cost on New Yorkers. Congestion Pricing will finally make drivers pay their fair share. New York w/ CP will have cleaner air, safer streets, and generally be more livable.
