Yesterday saw our officers from BTP Merseyside BTP Greater Manchester BTP Cheshire BTP Cumbria assist with the final day of the grand national! 🐎 Amazing time had by all officers, staff and the travelling public, with 3 of our officers unable to resist a cheeky bop to dancing queen 👀🕺🏽🎤🩰🚂

Last week, we received information from another force that 2 wanted persons had travelled on the network.

One of our BTP Specials conducted CCTV enquiries and circulated descriptions.

Within 2 hours, our Sunderland Officers had located them and made arrests for Attempt Murder.

Today our T/SPS for BTP Cheshire paraded on an early shift and assisted colleagues increasing resource capability and resilience. A variety of jobs attended, most notably Co-ordinating the appropriate triage of a medical emergency at Crewe railway station!🚂 #specialcontribution

Two teenagers have been charged following a stabbing at Manchester Victoria railway station on the evening of Friday 29 March.

It’s been a busy Easter weekend with volunteer officers helping police the London Underground to reassure people and provide extra security for passengers 👮‍♂️🚋

We have Special Constables on duty at BTP Tyne & Wear, BTP North Yorkshire and BTP London this Easter Sunday complimenting @BTP’s Response Teams across the force.

Volunteers out supporting the dedicated team of regular officers 👮‍♂️ at Stockwell in south London. Busy shift responding to a range of calls, including for assault, theft and yes, even traffic 🚓🚂🚦

Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace the suspect for a stabbing at Beckenham Junction.

You will see an enhanced police presence across stations in the area throughout the night and into tomorrow.

We do not believe there is any risk to the wider public.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was seriously injured at Beckenham Junction today.

Good work last night by BTP Specials from BTP Ops Support Unit, BTP NetworkResponse and BTP London who attended a report of a sexual offence.

First on scene, and one of our officers made the arrest.

On Saturday 3 x officers conducted a proactive shift at Preston railway station supervised by our T/SPS for BTP Lancashire attending incidents from ASB and concerns for welfare. Plenty high vis presence on services to reassure passengers on their journeys in and around Lancashire!🚂
