I heard last night that I am one of two people to have done a Breeding Bird Surveys in Wales every year since it started in 1994. This is where I also did a pilot census project square in the 2 year test in 92-3. Really proud and happy to have contributed to the survey at all levels.

Had a fantastic day with the BTO Cymru Regional Network on Saturday in Newtown. It was truly lovely getting the team together, as well as thinking of new ways to support our volunteers and to bring birding to new and diverse audiences across Wales.

Cawsom ddiwrnod gwych gyda Rhwydwaith Rhanbarthol BTO Cymru ddydd Sadwrn yn Drenewydd. Roedd yn wirioneddol hyfryd cael y tîm at ei gilydd, yn ogystal â meddwl am ffyrdd newydd o gefnogi ein gwirfoddolwyr a i ddod ag adara i gynulleidfaoedd newydd ac amrywiol ledled Cymru.

Exciting PhD opportunity to announce. A fully funded studentship is on offer, starting in October 2024, for a project focusing on the relationships between human well-being and avian biodiversity. Co-supervised by BTO Cymru.
