Idling always has been my strong point. I take no credit to myself in the matter - it's a gift

The tax-free £10 Christmas Bonus is going into bank accounts around now. It is paid to 12 million pensioners and others on long term benefits such as widows and some disabled people. First introduced in 1972 when the basic state pension was £6.75 a week, today it should be £251.

I don't ever want to hear this Government ever say they don't have money to help the poor when they can magic £46million for a memorial dedicated to one of the richest people in the UK.

Trevor Philips asks why Sue Gray who was "Sacked as Keir Starmer's Chief of Staff after a hundred days because apparently she wasn't up to doing the job, being given a life peerage?" And I can't help but wonder why this question has not been asked of Charlotte Owen 🤷‍♂️

Stop asking why train drivers are paid twice as much as nurses. Start asking why chief executives are paid hundreds of times more than either.

How much is the £11.44 an hour minimum wage damaging British business? With me in the studio to discuss this are a £91,000 a year Tory MP, a £200,000 a year rightwing journalist and a chief executive on £4.2m.

There's probably a reason why absolutely none of the world's 200 or so other countries haven't copied Thatcher's madcap water privatisation policies and I just can't think of it right now

These figures are utterly damning. Every 4 weeks of delay in cancer treatment increases the risk of death by up to 10%. For Wes Streeting & NHS England to have scrapped the target to diagnose 75% of cancers at stage 1 or 2 is simply scandalous.

This👇 Victorian England was swimming in disease, especially in the poorest areas. 25% of kids never saw their 5th birthday. They didn’t all magically become immune to Cholera, TB or Smallpox. Only sanitation, ventilation and vaccines reduced deaths - NOT repeated infection.

'CHARITY* FINDS⭐️ALL⭐️UK SERVICES FAILING' was a recent headline on ITV News. 🤯'The report shows that no IBD service in the UK met standards for care or staffing with only one in five services having enough IBD specialist nurses, often described as a "lifeline" for patients

In the UK in 2020 (latest figures) 5088 men and 3308 women died aged 66. So around 8400 more people will never get a state pension when pension age rises to 67, and more than 600,000 66 year olds who live will have to wait an extra year. No wonder it saves billions!

The cost of winter fuel payments is £3bn a year. The profits of the big four gas supply giants in 2023 were £65bn. Gosh, what a difficult circle to square.
