2SW set up their own penalty shoot out yesterday in our outdoor classroom using crates as the goals. I love seeing the children take ownership of their play, sharing ideas, working together and most importantly, having fun! Woodlands Primary #looseparts #outdoorlearning
Today, using dominoes in maths helped us understand that it doesn't matter which order you add the numbers in a number sentence. The answer will always be the same. Woodlands Primary #marvellousmaths
Maths was so much fun in the sun today....we threw a wet sponge at a number, we read it, and based on what we've been learning this week recalled whether it is an odd or even number. Woodlands Primary #outdoormaths #mathsisfun

Today, we let our pencils do the talking. We listened to music and responded with our pencils. Our job was to think about how the music sounded and respond accordingly ..... I'm really impressed with the work created 👏 👏👏 Woodlands Primary expressivearts_wcps
Our class exhibition was a huge success. It gave us a chance to showcase all the expressive arts work we've covered this term and show our learning journey to our parents. A big thank you to everyone who came 🤩. Woodlands Primary expressivearts_wcps #familyengagement
Using our maths skills we counted how much money we raised altogether during our class exhibition. We grouped £1 coins in a tower of £10, and then we counted the notes in 5s and 10s to make it easier for us to find out how much altogether. Woodlands Primary #authenticmaths
A well-deserved end of term treat for 2SW. A teddy bears pizza picnic and fun on the field playing with friends. Woodlands Primary #makingmemories #endoftermfun
