One giant leap for womankind! 5 years ago today, Christina Koch and Jessica Meir conducted the first all-woman spacewalk, working outside the ISS to replace faulty equipment. Since the first spacewalk in 1965, there have been 265 spacewalkers. Only 23 of them have been women.

On this day in 1993, Space Shuttle Columbia launched on STS-58, the second Spacelab Life Sciences mission (SLS-2). The crew conducted regulatory physiology, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neuroscience experiments.
